What if your business had a second brain?

Today we build it — a brain that remembers your story, talks like you, and knows your customers. Its first piece of work: your website, live on the internet before you leave. No code. No agency. No waiting.

A real website, live on the internet, with your name on it — built with today's exact prompts. Click through.
People like you got there first

None of them could code.

"I built an AI note-taker for my wife's therapy practice in one Saturday afternoon — instead of paying $35 a month for the official add-on."

Owner, private practice — and yes, personal projects count too

"I'm an architect, 40 years in the field, not a developer. I built my own project tracker — and my firm runs on it now."

Business owner, architecture firm

"Made my first live website this week. It's real. It's online."

First-timer — exactly where you are right now

These very slides — the ones you're swiping right now — were built with Claude Code. Interactive maps, carousels, copy buttons: all of it.

Us. Your trainers. We use what we teach.
Before anything else

Open this page on your laptop, right now.

Phone is for questions. Laptop is for building. Re-scan the QR on your laptop browser, or type the short link on screen.

  • Windows laptop — Windows 10 or newer
  • Mac — macOS 11 or newer
  • You can install software on it — your machine, not a locked company one
  • No iPads, tablets, or phones as your build machine — they can't run the tools (yes, we warned you before the event 😄)
How today works

Three rules.

1
Everything is copy-paste. Every prompt you need is on these slides with a copy button. You never type from scratch.
2
You cannot break anything. We work in a safe folder on your own laptop. Worst case, we undo and go again.
3
No silent struggling. Stuck for more than 2 minutes? Say so, out loud — we're a small room and that's the point.
Your questions, all day

Interrupt me.
Seriously.

  • This is a small room by design. No question queue, no hands-up ceremony — just say it out loud the moment it hits you.
  • "I'm lost", "go back", "what does that word mean" — all fair game, all day.
  • The only bad question today is the one you sit on for twenty minutes.

Before the magic — the truth

Everything you see online is the tip of the iceberg.

What you see: the magic ✨ What keeps you safe: governance — privacy, permissions, boundaries
Governance · 1 of 2

Your data. Your choice — but make it knowingly.

AI tools may use your conversations to help improve their models. That's a real choice, not a trick — some people are happy to contribute. But you should choose it, not sleepwalk into it.

1
Happy to help improve the models? Go ahead — leave it on. Genuinely fine for personal projects.
2
Working with business data? Our advice: switch it off — and if it's company data, consult your IT or HR before you share anything at all.
3
Either way: it lives in Settings → Privacy, and we'll walk past it together right after install so you decide with your own eyes.
Governance · 2 of 2

The rules of engagement.

1
Today we build in a sandbox. One folder, on your own laptop, for your own website. Nothing touches your company systems.
2
Later, AI can connect to real systems — your email, files, company tools. Powerful, and genuinely risky: AI can misread, overwrite, and break things at speed.
3
So the rule is: whatever you connect is your responsibility. Company data or systems? Check with your HR / IT first — get it in writing. We teach the tool; the connections you make are yours.
The AI you already know

You've met these three.

ChatGPT
The famous chatbot. You ask a question, it answers.
You ask → it answers
Claude
Same idea, by Anthropic — the company behind everything we use today.
You ask → it answers
Claude Cowork

It works with you
Today's tool

Claude Code doesn't tell you how. It does it.

How do I compute gravitational force?
A chatbot: "F = G·m₁·m₂/r² — here's how the formula works…" — and now the maths is your problem.
Build me a calculator for gravitational force.
Claude Code: "Done — here's your working calculator. Want it styled to match your site?"
In your world

What this looks like in your business.

Automotive
  • Booking page for servicing slots
  • Quote calculator by car model & job
Healthcare & wellness
  • Clinic page with services & appointment requests
  • Patient FAQ that answers the phone-call questions
F&B
  • Menu page with photos and a WhatsApp order button
  • Daily-specials page you update by typing a sentence
Sales & services
  • Landing page that captures leads while you sleep
  • Proposal generator in your tone of voice

If you can type,
you can build.

That's the only skill requirement today. Let's set up your machine.

Setup

Two installs. Fifteen minutes. Then we build all day.

1
The Claude app — the actual product, always first. Download, open, sign in. No terminal, no commands.
2
Git — a small helper tool. We'll explain what it actually is before installing, because we don't install mystery software.

Git = save points, like in a video game.

Playing a game, you hit a save point before the boss fight. Lose? You don't start the whole game again — you go back to the save. Git does exactly that, automatically, for everything Claude builds you.

🎮 save 1 save 2 save 3 boss fight ✕ "undo that" — respawn at save 3
1
The 5-year-old version: nothing you make can ever be lost. Ever.
2
The IT-grad version: version control — every change is a commit you can diff and roll back. Claude commits as it works.
3
Your version: you install it once and never open it. Claude drives; Git is the seatbelt.

Sign in — then make your privacy call.

1
Sign in with the same account your Claude plan is on
2
Open Settings → Privacy and find the option about using your data to help improve the models
3
Decide. On = you're contributing. Off = your conversations stay yours. Business data in play? Off — and check with IT/HR before sharing company info here.
Almost there

Find Code. Pick your folder.

1
In the Claude app, look for the Code section — that's Claude Code
2
Click it. It asks which folder to work in

Hi! I'm brand new to this. In simple, non-technical language: introduce yourself and tell me three things you could build for my business.

Checkpoint
🏆 Milestone 1 · Machine ready

Everyone in?

Claude replied to you → thumbs up. Anything else → shout, and we fix it together on your screen. Nobody moves on until the whole room is in.

First win of the day

Before we build — meet your Silent Partner.

Remember the second brain from the opening slide? This is where we build it — except ours has a better name. A silent partner knows the business inside out, backs every move — and stays invisible. Yours works around the clock, never takes equity, and lives as a small set of files in your folder. Claude reads them at the start of every conversation, forever.

business.md voice.md audience.md design.md · from a picture agents.md · Day 2 CLAUDE.md
You don't write it — it interviews you

Answer 6 questions. It writes the files.

Here are the 6 questions coming your way, with the kind of answer that works — short and honest beats long and polished:

Your name, and your business's name?
e.g. "Mei Lin — Kopi & Co."
What do you sell, in one sentence?
e.g. "Traditional kopi and kaya toast breakfast sets."
Who buys from you?
e.g. "Morning regulars from the estate, plus young couples on weekends."
Claude plays a customer: "Hi, you open today? What should I try?"
Just reply like it's a real WhatsApp message — e.g. "Open till 3 lah! First time? Kaya toast set, trust me 😄" Your reply IS your voice — it learns the tone from how you actually talk.
What makes you different from your competitors?
e.g. "We still roast our own beans weekly. Nobody else nearby does."
The one action you want every customer to take?
e.g. "WhatsApp us the order before they arrive."
Copy · paste into Claude Code · answer as it asks

Interview me so you can become my silent partner. Ask me 6 short questions, ONE at a time — wait for my answer before the next, and don't summarize my answers back to me: 1) my name and my business name, 2) what we sell in one sentence, 3) who buys from us, 4) for this one, don't ask me to describe anything — instead, role-play as one of my customers: send me a typical customer message (asking if we're open, what to get, how much something costs) and tell me to reply exactly the way I really would. My reply IS my voice — learn the tone and wording from it, 5) what makes us different from our competitors, 6) the one action I want every customer to take. When I've answered all 6, create three files in this folder — business.md, voice.md and audience.md — using my own words, not polished marketing language. Then update CLAUDE.md to reference all three so you remember me in every future conversation here. Finally, create partner.md — a one-page summary: first line "# " followed by my business name, second line "> " followed by the phrase I actually use, then three sections "## What we are", "## How we sound", "## Who we serve", each with 3 to 5 short bullets in my own words. Finish by showing me the full contents of partner.md so I can copy it.

Now look at what you just made

See inside your partner's mind.

Claude just showed you partner.md — your business, distilled into one page. Copy all of it, paste it below, and watch this slide draw your map.

The wow moment

Now prove it knows you.

Copy · paste · watch

Without me repeating anything about my business: a customer just messaged asking what we offer and how much it costs. Write the WhatsApp reply you'd send on my behalf, in my brand tone.

Keep it alive

Your Silent Partner grows with your business.

1
It's permanent. At home, in this folder, it still knows you. New laptop? Copy the folder — your partner moves with it.
2
Update it by talking. New product, new price, new tagline? Just say: "update your memory — we now also sell ___". Ten seconds.
3
Tomorrow it gets a colleague. Day 2 adds agents.md — the job description for your first AI employee, built on top of everything it learned about you today.
One more superpower

Your partner fits in your pocket.

Install the Claude app on your phone and sign in with the same account. Your work hands off seamlessly between laptop and phone — check on a build from the coffee queue, approve a change from the sofa, keep things moving with the laptop closed.

The one skill

Brief it like you'd brief an employee.

Don't say "make website". Say who you are, what you sell, who it's for, and what you want a visitor to do. The more you tell it, the better it builds — exactly like a real member of staff.

The big one

Build your business a home.

Fill in the blanks · then copy · paste into Claude Code

Build me a one-page website for my business, . We . Our customers are . The one thing a visitor should do is . Make it clean and professional, and open a preview so I can see it.

Tap the maroon blanks and type — the copy button grabs your words too.
While it works

What's actually happening

Claude is writing real website files into your my-website folder and opening a live preview. You never need to open those files — you're the boss reviewing the work, not the one doing it. And Git is quietly saving every version behind the scenes.

Optional head start

Clone ours. We're giving it to you.

We built a sample site for this course — and unlike a random website, this one you have our full permission to clone. Structure, sections, layout: take it all. Your content goes inside.

Fill in the blank · copy · paste

Recreate the structure and layout of this example site: . Keep the skeleton, but fill every section with MY business from your memory files, styled by my design.md. It should feel like mine, not like a copy.

Round two · a picture becomes your design

Steal the vibe, never the content.

1
Screenshot one page whose look you love — any website, anywhere. The colors, the mood, the feel.
2
Paste the picture into Claude Code — click the chat box, press Ctrl+V (Mac: Cmd+V). Yes, it can see images.
3
Then paste this prompt with it:
Paste the picture first · then this prompt

Study this picture — the colors, fonts, spacing, and overall mood. Create design.md in this folder capturing that style as MY brand's look, and add it to CLAUDE.md so you always design in this style for me. Important: take only the style — never their logo, photos, text or name. Then restyle my website to match design.md and show me the preview.

The money section

Show what you sell.

Fill in the blanks · copy · paste

Add a section that shows my three main : . Write a short, convincing line for each one. Match the style of the rest of the page.

The polish pass

Make it look human, not AI-made.

AI-built sites have tells, and your customers can smell them: purple-blue gradients, emoji in every heading, everything centered, the same font as every other AI site. One prompt scrubs it all.

Copy · paste · watch it grow up

Go through my site and remove anything that looks AI-generated: no purple or blue gradients, no emoji in headings, no generic buzzwords like "elevate" or "seamless", don't center every single thing. Follow my design.md, use my real words from the memory files, and make it feel like a real business made this — because one did. Show me the before and after.

Turn visitors into customers

Add the WhatsApp button.

This is the slide that pays for today. A visitor who can message you in one tap is a lead.

Fill in the blank · copy · paste

Add a prominent WhatsApp button that opens a chat with my business number , with the pre-filled message "Hi, I found you through your website!". Put it where a visitor can't miss it.

Recharge

Lunch.

When we're back: your site stops living on your laptop and goes onto the actual internet.

Live clinic

What's broken? Let's fix it together.

Bring us your broken thing — even "mine looks ugly" counts. We'll take them one at a time on the big screen, and you'll watch how to un-stick yourself: describe the problem to Claude the way you'd describe it to us.

Go live

Right now, only you can see it.

Your site lives on your laptop. Netlify is a free service that puts it on a real internet address — so customers, family, and that one skeptical friend can all see it. Claude handles the whole move; you just approve.

The moment

Publish it.

Copy · paste · follow what Claude says

Deploy this website to Netlify. Walk me through anything you need from me in simple steps, and give me the live link when it's done.

Checkpoint
🏆 Milestone 2 · Live on the internet

You're live.

A real business website, on the real internet, built by you, today. Send it to one person who didn't believe you'd do this.

Show & share

Put yours on the wall.

1
Screenshot your live site — and dig out that partner-map screenshot from earlier
2
One at a time on the big screen: your name, your business, your live link — 60 seconds each, show us what you made
3
Then walk around — swap links, swap numbers. You're standing in a room of business owners who build with AI now
Bonus round · fast finishers

Stack more business wins.

Fill · copy · paste

Add a Google Maps section showing my location at , our opening hours (), and a footer with my Instagram . Then deploy the update.

Or: let your customers vouch for you

Add a testimonials section with these real quotes from my clients, word for word, never shortened and never invented: "" — , and "" — . Then deploy the update.

Real quotes only, with the client's OK. Invented reviews aren't marketing — they're a liability.
Make it stick

Your homework: 15 minutes.

1
Open the Claude app at home, go back into your my-website folder
2
Change one thing — a photo, a line, a color — and deploy the update
3
Doing it once without us in the room is what makes it yours.
Two words you'll hear on Day 2

API and MCP, in plain English.

🍽️ API — the waiterYou don't walk into a restaurant's kitchen — you tell the waiter, the waiter brings the dish. An API is the waiter between two systems: your bot asks, the other system serves. You never touch the kitchen.
🔌 MCP — the power stripOne plug that lets Claude connect to many tools — your email, your files, your calendar — each socket a different power. Plug in only what you trust, and remember the governance rule: company systems need IT/HR's blessing first.
Tomorrow

Day 2: your first AI employee.

A Telegram bot that answers real business questions — "what does this client owe?", "send them the invoice reminder" — working for you around the clock. Today you built a shopfront. Tomorrow you hire staff.

🏆 Day 1 complete · 100%

You shipped.
See you at Day 2.

One last thing before you go — tell us, face to face: your best moment and your most confusing one. Tomorrow gets better because of it.
